The Rapid Matic V5 Series chain complies with the following standards:
The whole chain and all the latching and fitting systems have been designed and manufactured taking into account the high traction and loads required by 4x4s and SUVs. More notably, the heavy duty, square section chain links are made of core-hardened and galvanised steel. The unique self-locking tensioning system, which ensures optimal contact between chain and ground, is very large, incredibly tough and features a “closed” frame in order to fully protect the chain in one of the most crucial points and ensure the best possible wear and reliability, even when used on ice, which could hinder the removal operation. Both the internal and external latching systems have been designed to ensure an easy latching and unlatching action even when the vehicle is still and weather conditions are poor. | |
