Maximum bass performance, minimum overall height

The HELIX IK ES10.1-DVC2 MK2 combines powerful low-frequency performance with an exceptionally flat bass-reflex enclosure. Designed for hidden installation locations – such as under a double loading floor in the trunk – it delivers rich bass, high dynamics and impressive sound pressure even where conventional subwoofers simply won’t fit.

Smart terminal concept

The new connection terminal features a plug-in design and offers two connection options: a screw terminal for conventional speaker cables as well as a standardized MOLEX connector for custom wiring harnesses. This combines the best of two worlds: maximum flexibility for classic HELIX-style installations, plus a plug & play logic familiar from the MATCH ecosystem. It greatly simplifies installation and enables quick, safe removal and reinstallation when extra space is needed. The detachable plug also reliably protects against short circuits, as no bare cable ends remain inside the vehicle.

Flexible connectivity

Thanks to its dual voice coil design, the IK ES10.1-DVC2 MK2 offers a high degree of flexibility when choosing the right amplifier setup. Depending on the application, the voice coils can be configured as 1 x 1 Ω (ideal for HELIX and MATCH monoblocks), 1 x 4 Ω (e.g. for bridged channels on powerful multi-channel amplifiers such as the HELIX AMPLIFY series) or 2 x 2 Ω (for parallel operation with multichannel-multitools, for example from the HELIX NEXT and MATCH UPGRADE lines) – making virtually any low-bass configuration easy to realize.

ISM-ready – optional active subwoofer upgrade

In the MK2 version, the IK ES10.1-DVC2 is now ISM-ready: By replacing the passive terminal with the optional IMPACT Subwoofer Module (e.g. ISM 400.2DSP), the enclosure subwoofer can be upgraded to an active subwoofer in no time. As a direct-fit solution, the ISM 400.2DSP is a powerful amplified subwoofer module with integrated signal processor – developed for high-quality subwoofer upgrades in modern vehicles with factory-installed sound systems. This results in a compact all-in-one solution combining amplification and DSP signal processing for powerful yet controlled bass – without having to rebuild the existing system.

Smart downfire design

The intelligent downfire construction ensures even bass dispersion throughout the vehicle. Using the vehicle floor as an acoustic reflector intensifies low-frequency output, protects the driver and enables an even lower-profile design. Combined with bass-reflex technology and a powerful 250 mm chassis, the result is a dynamic bass experience with impressive output – while making highly efficient use of available space.

Impressive sound through smart engineering and high-quality components

Extremely flat enclosures require sophisticated design details to prevent unwanted vibrations. On the IK ES10.1-DVC2 MK2, the subwoofer’s magnet system is bolted directly to the rear panel of the enclosure for additional reinforcement.
Inside, the enclosure features the shallow-mount 250 mm IK S10-DVC2 subwoofer with a heavy-duty dual voice coil and an extremely rigid sandwich paper cone. This combination efficiently converts amplifier power into substantial sound pressure while still delivering accurate, finely detailed bass reproduction.

Rugged, practical design

Designed for everyday use in the vehicle, the IK ES10.1-DVC2 MK2 relies on robust materials and a well-thought-out design. The enclosure is covered with a sturdy carpet featuring the embroidered HELIX logo, making it not only visually appealing but also robust enough for everyday use. The feet, equipped with Velcro tape, provide a secure hold inside the vehicle and support stable, low-vibration positioning – even during powerful bass reproduction.
